Maggie is the perfect dog! I couldn’t have wished for more! You have the perfect formula!
She is so mild tempered, but not a dud! She is smart as a whip too! We have started some obedience training and she has gotten the hang of walking on a leash/heeling very quickly. Tonight we worked on sitting and she’s a star. For the last week or so, I’ve been working on getting her to release the ball/toy when we play fetch, and tonight I think she really got it.
She has the cutest bark that she only uses to let us know she needs to go out or would like to come in, please. We took her to family for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day which I was a little nervous about but she was a doll. Even the cat lovers were taken with her. I even have a photo of my crotchety father-in-law holding her sitting on the couch!
She loves going to work with me. You should see her run in the door when we get there!
Tomorrow we have some friends coming over who are thinking about getting a dog, and I’m sure that Maggie will push them over the fence.
By the way, she’s eating well now.
