Hi Norma and Mark,
Sorry it took a while for us to update you, we had a few work deadlines, and then have been busy taking care of THE MOST ADORABLE PUPPY IN THE WORLD!
Oh my goodness, she has been so good and fun and cute…I just can’t say enough good things. You guys (and her doggy parents) did the most fantastic job of raising her thus far! And as Mark told us she would be, she is indeed a very smart little puppy. She has never once had an accident in the house (we got up every 4 hours the first couple nights to let her out), and definitely knows she needs to go outside to go the bathroom. She sits all cute in front of the door. Now we just have to work on getting her to tell us somehow instead of just looking cute J
Good thing we had some leaves left over in the yard. She just loves to romp and jump in them! And always has to have one in her mouth. She also loves to run through the snow. We have quite a bit more snow here than you guys did when we picked her up, and she jumps like a rabbit, then plunges her nose into the fresh stuff…so funny!
Her favorite inside toy is the hotdog Norma got her. She loves it. We roll it down the hallway and she runs after it and then snuggles up with it to chew. It was also a very smart thing that you guys had blankets in their pen as the play area…all we have to do now is to put down a blanket and she knows she can plop down there and play.
I have attached some pictures, let me know if you can’t open them. I think she is adjusting amazingly well. It really helped that we got to visit with her beforehand so she got to know us. Thanks again for everything. We’ll keep sending updates now and then!
